American Headache Society:

The American Headache Society (AHS) is a professional society of health care providers dedicated to the study and treatment of headache and face pain. The Society's objectives are to promote the exchange of information and ideas concerning the causes and treatments of headache and related painful disorders. Educating physicians, health professionals and the public and encouraging scientific research are the primary functions of this organization.
American Council for Headache Education:
The American Council for Headache Education (ACHE) was created in 1990 through an initiative of the American Headache Society (AHS). ACHE is a nonprofit patient-health professional partnership dedicated to advancing the treatment and management of headache and raising the public awareness of headache as a valid, biologically based illness.
National Headache Foundation:
The National Headache Foundation exists to enhance the healthcare of headache sufferers. It is a source of help to sufferers’ families, physicians who treat headache sufferers, allied healthcare professionals and to the public. The NHF provides educational and informational resources, supporting headache research and avocation for the understanding of headache as a legitimate neurobiological disease.
International Headache Society:
The International Headache Society (IHS) is an organization whose strategic objective is to alleviate the burden of headache worldwide, in particular by promoting research into causes, mechanisms, diagnosis, treatment and other aspects of headache.
The Brain Matters:
A group of sixty advocacy and patient support groups has teamed up to focus public attention on the personal and societal impacts of neurological diseases.
The Migraine Trust:
The Migraine Trust aims to help people with migraine and other headaches, as well as organizations, groups, and individuals who work to support them through research and care.
Migraine Awareness Group (MAGNUM):
MAGNUM (Migraine Awareness Group: A National Understanding for Migraineurs) was created to bring public awareness, utilizing the electronic, print, and artistic media, to the fact that Migraine is a true organic neurologic disease, to assist Migraine sufferers, their families, and co-workers, and to help improve the quality of life of Migraine sufferers worldwide.
American Academy of Neurology (AAN):
The American Academy of Neurology is a medical specialty society established to advance the art and science of neurology, and thereby promote the best possible care for patients with neurological disorders.
